Without changing the timetable for its School opening calendar, the School of Saint John Bosco opened its classes for the School Year 2014-2015 on June 2, 2014, in accordance with the policy of the Department of Education.
SSJB’s orientation with the students and teachers during the first week of the current school year was well organized and well attended. It was indeed a “week of welcome” ( WOW!), what a way to welcome and greet new students! Despite the hectic schedule for the organizers, everything turned out to be amazingly fulfilling, interesting and fun. The new students (old ones were allowed to sit in too) learned for the first time how is it to be a student in the spirit and style of Saint John Bosco, that is, the qualities of the ideal Bosconian.
The School Administration and Faculty staff were all present during the orientation busy attending and responding to the needs and queries of the students. The students had the chance to be introduced to their respective advisers, teachers, school staff and got to know other students who may become their new seat or classmates. They were also provided with information regarding academic requirements, the School’s policies and their rights and duties as a student. The younger ones particularly those in the Preparatory and Kindergarten were excited to stay, learn and play in their newly decorated classrooms and everyone got the chance to familiarize with the School’s facilities and premises.
To our dear New Bosconians, welcome to SSJB!
